One Day Tour to Genting Highlands – French Village & Batu Caves

Our today’s trip is to a hill station which is also one of my personal favorite place in Malaysia – Genting Highlands. Best time to visit noon to evening. If you are in package or booking a taxi, make the trip 11AM to 7PM or  12 to 8, to get the awesome evening vibe in cable around 6PM and if include French village, starts trips slightly early. I would say Genting as the world of chilling super cool climate along with eye refreshing greenery in Malaysia. To make it a happening world there do have large number of restaurants, casinos, indoor park, wild variety of shopping areas, skyway cable car and much more. Even some people use to stay here for one day. Genting Highlands is a place where people, songs and games come alive 24 hours a day. The outdoor park is now ready after restructuring from 2013 onwards to make it to one of the best in the world a kind of Disney world they say. One of the best parks in Asia.\ 🌄 Morning – French Village Breakfast at the hotel Depart for Bukit Tinggi Visit Colmar Tropicale Resort, Berjaya Hills – the charming French-inspired village surrounded by lush tropical hills. Photo stops and free time to explore the village 🚡 Afternoon – Genting Highlands Continue to Genting Highlands Enjoy the scenic Awana SkyWay cable car ride through the rainforest. Explore Resorts World Genting Free time for shopping, entertainment and sightseeing Optional attractions: Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park or Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park After enjoying Genting hill top, our next tour plan is to visit the beautiful Chinese temple.  🛕 Evening – Return via Batu Caves Descend from Genting Highlands En-route visit Batu Caves. This is the apt time as it won’t be hot. Morning 9AM to noon it’s too hot. Explore the famous limestone caves and temple complex, including the iconic 272-step staircase. Photo stop and short visit Return to Kuala Lumpur hotel Genting Glass Floor Picture: Chin Swee Temple taken by AM. (Details on next blog) MD – Note The Point📌 –> “Knowledge is Power. Information is Our Weapon. Memories are Our Legacy.” 🛕 Batu Caves: Visit in the evening to avoid the heat. Best to cover it on the return from Genting. 🚡 Genting Cable Car: Choose the Glass-Floor Cable Car for an amazing experience, scenic views & Special Queue access.  *You cannot bring bag or camera inside Casino and also you must be above 21 years old. *Genting Highlands established by late Chinese businessman Lim Goh Tong *The temperature in GH during day time will be around 15-22 degree & night it could drop to 12. *Genting “First World Hotel” is the hotel with largest number of rooms in the world (7531 room – 7 hotels). *Location: Genting highlands, Pahang Nearby Attractions / Facilities: *Chin Swee Temple *Strawberry Park *Shopping (Premium outlets) *Food (Muhibah Kitchen – details below) *Money Changer (WIP) French Village Tour Last but not least:📌MD Bonus Tip: – Don’t forget to sit with a relaxed mindset to feel the beats of this place at least for 10 minutes ❤️ “While pausing for photos at designated spots, also take a moment to absorb the beauty of the place directly in front of you. Allow it to resonate with you, creating a lasting memory in your heart”. Our MD journey will continue✈ So, what are you waiting for..? Everything and anything you might need is readily available in Malaysia. Tips To Fly: Rule #1: Ensure your hand carry is limited to 7kg as exceeding it by just one kilogram can cost around 1500 Rs. Always double-check the weight and confirm if you have any additional luggage, especially when flying with AirAsia, it includes hand carry only, additional luggage need to take separately. Rule #2: Keep in mind that hand carry allowances restrict liquids to containers of 100ml or less. *Rule #3: For those planning to have dinner in-flight, it’s advisable to pre-book to enjoy a 20% discount on the meals. Rule #4: If you possess a credit/debit card offering airport lounge access, take advantage of the free amenities, including unlimited food, drinks, and a comfortable resting place. Rule #5: Be mindful of your flight timing. For instance, if your AirAsia flight is on May 16 at 00:20, plan to be at the airport on the night of the 15th. Many people face issues with this timing, so exercise caution to avoid missing your flight.
